The Lester Senior Living Community offers short-term respite stays in our beautiful Weston Assisted Living building. These accommodations are for seniors who need some help with daily living tasks and could use a little more entertainment while the primary caregiver is taking a much-needed break. Our respite stays are available for anywhere from two weeks to two months, and provide a true home away from home. Our certified care team is available 24/7 to assist with daily tasks of living, medication management and to provide opportunities for socialization with other residents. We also offer state-recognized memory care services to respite guests in our separate memory care suite.

A short-term respite stay at JCHC’s Lester community in Whippany New Jersey, is the perfect way to give assisted living a trial run since respite apartments are located in the assisted living wing of the Lester Campus. Should your loved one find life at Lester to be just what they’ve been hoping for, they are more than welcome to join us full-time! The apartments dedicated to respite care are fully furnished studio apartments, but our full-time assisted living residents may choose from 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, combination, or specialized apartments in our memory care suite. All of our floor plans provide essential living and other health services to seniors 62+ that are not readily available in a normal apartment setting.
