The Jewish Community Housing Corporation of Metropolitan New Jersey (JCHC), a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization rooted in Jewish values, was founded in 1983 with the mission of providing senior citizens with affordable homes in nurturing and enriching communities in Greater MetroWest NJ.
Thanks to the generous support from donors like you, the Jewish Community Housing Corporation of Metropolitan New Jersey (JCHC) has been meeting the dynamic needs of seniors in our community for over 40 years.
We would like to take a moment and share some of the things we have been up to recently.
JCHC now can add help with activities of daily living to the list of services it offers residents. In January, New Jersey’s health department licensed JCHC to operate an assisted living program at its buildings in the Oranges….
Our latest capital improvement plan, started last summer at our flagship Lester Senior Community, is one of our most ambitious and exciting upgrades yet. It allows us to meet or exceed the quality of amenities and services offered….
and stay tuned as we head into the next phases of our renovations!
Recently, Lester residents joined the Better Together Intergenerational Group from Morristown Jewish Center Beit Yisrael for Shabbat Dinner.
We had a wonderful time with our friends and want to send a special THANK YOU, not only for inviting us to dinner but for your monthly visits to Lester.
